We showcased our edge banding designs at the Intermob Fair
At the Intermob fair, which took place between 12-15th September 2024 at TÜYAP Exhibition and Congress Centre, EGGER revealed the hidden aesthetics in details with our ROMA Edgebands and ROMABOND brands. We emphasised that our products are ‘‘in every detail of life’’ during our meetings with people who seek perfection in details.
The ROMA brand is driving the industry forward with the world's largest edgebanding machine park producing PVC, ABS and PMMA edgebanding under one roof. ROMA edgebands and ROMABOND adhesives brands impressed visitors with their product and service solutions.
Like every year, the ROMA Edgebands and ROMABOND adhesives, which operate as part of the EGGER Group, an inspiring player in the wood-based materials industry, presented a wide range of products to the industry at this year's Intermob. With the ROMA edge band collection 2024 covering over 100 decors, the new products in the EGGER Decorative Collection 24+ and featuring EGGER's distinctive embossings, the exhibition, provided a holistic view of the furniture industry. During the 4 days thousands of people from 115 countries attended the show.
EGGER products in every detail of life
The stand attracted a great deal of interest for those seeking perfection in detail. With the ROMA Edgebands, what stands out is that with our products we are present in every detail of life. Edge bands not only bring aesthetics and functionality to design, but also enable a holistic approach. We targeted to raise awareness about the value of edge bands in the furniture and we designed our exhibition stand accordingly in order to provide an effective experience.
Sustainability from design to quality
In line with the EGGER Group's sustainability vision, all processes undertaken from production to design, from quality to operations are sustainable. This vision was communicated to visitors at the trade fair by calling for sustainability in every detail. With an approach that prioritises sustainability in edgeband production, it is important to minimise our carbon footprint by using environmentally friendly materials and energy-efficient methods in our production processes. As a company, we also pay attention to waste management and recycling. Our approach to sustainability not only reflects our commitment to environmental protection, but also embodies our mission to leave a more liveable world for the future.
From furniture manufacturers to industrial designers, edge banding has a wide range of users. This year we emphasized the importance of edge banding in the furniture industry and its presence in every detail of life. Vitali Behar, EGGER Türkiye Sales and Marketing Director, commented: ‘The ROMA Edgebands offer aesthetics, sustainability, harmony, reliability, quality, innovation and technology in every detail of life. At the Intermob fair, where we met with the industry, we aimed to unveil these underlying elements.’
Behar continued his comments on Intermob 2024 as follows: ‘Our focus this year was on the strong embossing lines. Touching a piece of furniture is just as impressive as seeing it. Touch, shapes our impression of objects and facilitates our interaction with the object. With this in mind, we presented a wide range of surface options to our partners at the trade fair. With over 1500 printing cylinders and more than 60 embossing cylinders in our state-of-the-art production lines, we offer a wide range of designs.
In conclusion, I would like to emphasise that our state-of-the-art production lines combined with our global power and recently built logistic warehouse make us an important player in the edgebanding sector. With our extensive dealer network, we reach all parts of Turkey and say ‘Aesthetics in every detail, ROMA on every edge’. While maintaining our leading position with our investments in Turkey, we will continue to bring our global power to every detail and our ROMA brand to every edge.’
